install windows in ur pendrive

This tutorial is useful for all those who own a Net book or an Ultra Portable Notebook, because both of them doesn’t come with an Optical Drive. So what to do when the Recovery Partition goes kaput and you want to install/recover, corrupted copy of Windows? You either have to connect the device to an external CD/DVD drive or get an external HDD with Operating System setup. So, do you want an easy alternative? If yes, then read on.
Flash Drives AKA Pen Drives have become quiet cheap now and 4GB has become a norm now days. You can setup Windows in your Pen Drive and use it to boot into the system and install the OS, and that too in few easy steps. For Windows XP you need to have a Pen Drive with at least 2GB space and for Vista/7 you need at least 4GB space. So here’s what you have to do:
Step 1:
Download the program ‘WinToFlash’, which can be found here. Now Extract its contents and execute the file ‘WinToFlash.exe’.
Step 2:
Once the Program is running, Click on ‘Windows Setup transfer wizard’ and then click on ‘Next’.
Step 3:

In the next screen you’ll have to insert the path of the ‘Windows Installation disk’ (i.e path of the setup, be it on HDD or Disk) in the field ‘Windows file path’ and in the field ‘USB drive’, insert the location of Pen Drive which will be used for installation purpose. Then click ‘Next’.
Step 4:
Accept the ‘Windows License Agreement’ and continue to the next screen.
Step 5:
Now you’ll get a warning that your Pen Drive will be formatted, as Windows will be setup in it, Click on ‘Ok’.
That’s it! Now in your Net book/Notebook, from the BIOS change Boot priority to ‘Removable Disk’. Save the settings and restart your Device with your Pen Drive plugged in. You’ll soon be greeted by Windows Setup screen.
